Masterson’s Pub , nestled in the bustling area of Moonee Ponds , brands itself as a fashionable, contemporary hangout, but my unfortunate encounter at this establishment quickly devolved into an unforgettable, terrible experience. While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I found behind its entrance was disgraceful and unfit for any venue.
The Condition of the Premises : Grimy and Disregarded

The floorboards were filthy, and a nauseating aroma of decaying beverages and neglected washrooms suffused the entire venue . Smelling a mixture of human waste, putrefaction and sour vomit . The main bar, which should be the main attraction of any pub, was littered with unwashed glassware and refuse that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks . The restroom was in even worse condition — spilling over , with a broken handle and walls covered in what I can only assume was human excrement .

Many visitors have reported seeing bugs darting across the serving surface and signs of rats in the bar and house area . For a business that provides refreshments , these issues are entirely inappropriate and raise serious concerns about the sanitation of anything they serve .
